Do Aggies fan think they could hang in the playoffs?

Listening to the radio and they are talking about A&M possibly making it into the playoffs. Which they definitely could possibly make it into the playoffs but there’s no way they could compete if they got there. To be honest I wouldn’t be surprised if they lose to Auburn

Wouldn’t be any worse than most non-SEC teams not named Ohio State or Clemson.

They have a pretty good defense so they'd fare better than Oklahoma has the past few years.

It’s all dependent on how Mond plays, which is typically bad but he can flash. If he plays well we can at least compete with anyone besides Bama IMO

Off topic, but that excuse given for why tOSU remained high and BYU not getting ranked higher tells me and should tell you how big of a farce these so called playoffs are.
They need to blow this system up and make all champions eligible and have WC.

an aggie/ND matchup would be pretty cool to see play out. Elko is familiar with them plus it’s a game I’d expect tamu to win if good Mond shows up

Did you watch their performance against a bad LSU team? Even if they make it, it will most likely be at 4 and Alabama would absolutely destroy them.

Teams cannot have bad days! Even in a deluge. Nevermind the fact the defense held the other team scoreless for 59 minutes. When the QB has a poor game it means your whole season sucks.
This team may very well lose to Auburn. It is also more likely that this team will not make the playoffs. If they happen to get there though, they have a puncher's chance as long as Mond shows up.

This is what I’m talking about...did you watch the game? A bad LSU team was in position to embarrass your arse but kept tripping over their own feat, screws by the refs or missed a TD by inches. No one who watched that game thought A&M had some sort of amazing defense...

There will clearly be 2 or 3 elite teams in the playoffs. The 4th team... whether A&M or anyone else is not elite and will not match up well with the others. I’m a realist. Ags secondary has some issues. Mond... is Mond.
