re: Dillon Gabriel was purposely sabotaged by his own team yesterday. I'll die on this hill.

The melt here over Shedeur Sanders is hilarious. These same people were calling Lamar Jackson a RB less than 2 years ago. Now the goal posts moved and Lamar is great but not a playoff QB. When he wins a Super Bowl they'll credit the defense. Bunch of racist pricks.

Then moments later, the media said Shedeur had "led the Browns to two TD's"

Ok. Well, this was my first viewing then I shared the video. WTF is wrong with you? If you’re going to say something stupid then STFU.
I wasn’t talking about you, I was referring to the dumb shite that started this whole thread. My bad, man.

He pulled his arms back like he thought the ball might burn him.

Sorry.
The TE was cut because you need to snag any ball that you can catch. This is not a league that rewards tentative play.
Still, sometimes the receivers will prefer a QB and only give max effort on a perfect pass. This guy may have had clouded judgement. Either way he looked like a bystander on a pass right to him.

Because there was another WR behind him.

Were going to have to agree to disagree.

This reads as Mary Rex bet too much and it didn't turn out the way she wanted.

People have no idea how often this happens in microdoses to the white QB in a position battle.
Pretty sure the TE on this play was white.

So, you’re saying there wasn’t a WR behind him?

Did you just accuse me of melting of Shedeur Sanders????
I don’t care anything about either of these rookie QBs in Cleveland. We are just discussing a play and a team.
If you don’t think WRs can play differently for a QB they are wanting to help win the job, then you don’t understand football or human relations. Dillion needs to be taking these guys out to dinner and getting to know them. Shedeur is exceptional at making friends with people and the receivers will give their all for him. If they don’t care for Dillion they will absolutely not play with identical effort. This is well known in football circles, it’s why we look for QBs to be leaders.

Yes. You are a little bitch.
The conjecture is also outstanding. You have no idea what is going on behind closed doors and making a lot of assumptions. Then using those assumptions to paint a narrative. Some low IQ shite.
The TE may have ran the wrong route. The receivers were too close to one another. Was a bad play by the offense altogether. Dillon is part of that offense.

And the Cleveland Browns will still suck no matter what. Teams cannot fix dumb owners...

Looking at this view when he threw it he had the TE open. The fact both receivers were at same spot means someone ran wrong route.
It seems the closest guy pulled hands back thinking other receiver had better angle? When I saw it yesterday different angle I thought DG should have thrown away. But knowing this is preseason and he had an open receiver at the time of throw I give DG a pass. You have to expect your receiver makes the play.
Looked at another way in film room assuming the pass isn’t thrown. The film review would have shown an open receiver and then DG would be asked why he didn’t throw it - because in NFL you have to throw in some coverage to succeed. You will not have wide open receivers every throw. Preseason is to learn.
DG did great yesterday. I don’t think he’s a starter type talent rather would be a great backup QB and could help his team if primary gets hurt during season. In time he could become a starter in the right situation.
I hope they cut him to get him away from this clown franchise.

Do you think he's better than Mahomes or is that just Baker?
