You have never met them. How can you even pretend to have an opinion about this?

Or they think they do.

If you want my honest opinion, I don't think I've ever seen in my life seen any one player work or play or use as much energy as hard as Lebron did in the entirely of last year's NBA playoffs.

I'm sure that is not true, I'm positive there are 11 and 12th guys on the bench who work harder to keep their NBA careers alive than any of us are going to give credit for.

Just watch any or all playoff games last year and the hustle Lebron showed running the court, guarding center and point guards, then carrying the entire offense, and it's really interesting to see where you're valuing his will and determination likely because like I said before, the narrative is already created, and you're working around it.

There is anecdotal evidence of MJ's will to go along with 6 titles and 6 finals MVP awards. MJ at the dream team practices would be an example, punching teammates at Bulls practice, etc.

welp, clearly LeBron is better, he has more "tools"
Right now:

MJ - greatest player of all time
LBJ - greatest potential player of all time

This is how I see it. Based on what I have seen from LBJ so far, I don't think he has the drive to fulfill his potential the way MJ did.

It's just funny that you don't see the absolute ridiculousness of what you're saying while trying to make fun of it the other way around.

THAT is why I said it is interesting.

You have never met ford frenzy, how can you pretend to form an opinion about ford frenzy that he's incapable of not being able to do something.

Again, fitting the narrative.

If Lebron punched a player in a practice, this board would be up in arms, and 99% of it wouldn't be saying it was due to his drive and determination.

How can you say this when he doesn't hold a candle to MJ's first 10 years in the league already?

How can you make that observation while arguing that others can't? lol

Can you quantify that? Show me a stat?

Yes, but Jordan did that all the time. LBJ has done it a few times in his career. You are now identifying the things that you said didn't exist.

Sure, but I do think it is by a fairly narrow margin.

I don't think anyone is disputing that.

There is no way you can measure this. People just say this when they have no means of proving it.

He does.

I don't think Lebron is better, but I think it is silly that people think Jordan's legacy is untouchable.

Look at what Lebron has done up to now. He is the youngest player EVER to do so many things in the League.

Lebron's too big of a pussy to start throwing punches.

Because he still has time and has the skill set of a Magic/Jordan hybrid with the body of a Karl Malone. It is remarkable.

If I was Lebron, i would have gotten in a fist fight on purpose in the NBA just to have it on your highlight reel, all the great ones have it.

Did you read the very next sentence?

Obviously not.

I read it. maybe I misunderstood. Are you saying that the 12th guy on the bench gives as much effort and has as much will? That may be so, but we are having a conversation about the greatest ever, so you have to match that will with unworldly talent. You are really all over the place trying to prove that will and effort are un-observable.

Right! Because THAT is how you prove yourself to be a MAN!

You know, because taking care of your kids, never getting arrested, and just being a decent human being is NOT enough.

All men should be like Shawn Kemp. Get high and go bang broads and never take care of the kids.

Or, go fight like school children just because it's the only way you know how to play defense.

Actually, I could not have possibly been more consistent in my argument.

I let the story play out, then give my thoughts.

You have clearly showed that you build your narratives and thoughts, and work the facts into them.
