An injury doesn't excuse the fact that he had Love beat off the dribble yet insisted on trying to shoot a 3

You guys are being FAR more sensitive about that than anyone else is
Just relax. Damn, the finals are over and your team won.

Wait, you don't think Curry was playing injured?
Bless your heart.
Bless your heart.

Curry sat out when GSW jumped on those big leads on the wins. He might've been able to squeeze out another 2ppg had he played more.

Or if he knew how to play defense without reaching every 7 seconds

No, I referenced his past ankle injury and stated that I don't believe it was affecting him in the finals. I also said that everyone is banged up and that you're making excuses for poor play. Pretty simple concept.

Again, excuses and explanations aren't the same thing.
Curry was hurt. I'm not sure why that's upsetting to anyone.

Or Curry is just stupid insisting on shooting a 3 instead of driving to basket. Everyone is banged up in the finals boom.
Not everyone is equally banged up

I think he is a phenomenal player. But when the defense gets that uptick in the playoffs/finals, and guys close out on defense that extra little amount, it hampers his game. He is still very good, but he isnt all time level elite
Reactionary take here. He's absolutely all-time level elite when he's 100% healthy

Considering he played well in the 9 games leading up to the Finals and was actually measured as running faster (straight like though) post-injury, the injury argument is pretty of an excuse unless we have more evidence.
I'm not discounting it, but right now it's primarily cyclical reasoning.

Feel free to add to the OP

It could be worse, at least he didn't lose to an 8 seed in the first round like Dirk in 07.

Jordan struggled in games 4-6 once Gary Payton started guarding him.
