I guess you weren’t paying much attention, that’s been the vibe ever since the Hopkins trade

I’m not talking about the value of the trade. I’m talking about how a guy bitched and whined until he got his way.

Hate to break it to you but trade demands have been a thing since the day trades were allowed in the league

Seriously, the world is barely finding out how shitty this organization has been

If Seattle didn't come in and offer two 1sts, the Jets wouldn't have traded him

The better bet for teams is Stafford. Half the number of years committed for barely over half the money per year. Watson has shown his entitlement. He’s not a leader. Watt’s been complaining about a lack of leadership and guys not giving a shite, but even he hasn’t been acting like the crybaby Watson has been.

Agreed. Watson has all the talent in the world but has the attitude of an NBA douche who whines about a bunch of made up SJW nonsense.
Stafford is enormously talented as well and has shown incredible heart playing through brutal injuries on terrible teams. He seems like the kind of teammate who players would run through a wall for.

Are there two Deshaun watsons?
Watsons one of the best dudes in the league off the field

I wouldn't want Darnold. I'd do the deal with the Jets for 4 1sts and 2 2nds. You get your future QB at the 2nd pick (Wilson). They can easily clear another 30M in cap space and start a true rebuild. Their cap sheet will be clean in 22, then they can make a nice run with a cheap franchise QB and a team built around him..

I don’t think Darnold is the answer as a future QB, either. I do think he can be a transition QB for a year or two if you wanted to load up on other talent in the draft the next two years. I agree they should push for the four firsts and two seconds.
If they want, you trade JJ and Deshaun, release McKinney, D. Johnson, Cooks, and Fulton to open up that cap space. If they trade Deshaun, I think they punt on a QB in this draft, accept you’ll be awful, and take one next year with the top pick.

If he plays the Texans miss playoffs. If he sits out they miss playoffs and get a higher draft choice. It will be his biggest mistake of his life if he sits out.

First of all that wasn’t even a year ago yet. Secondly, “rescue” him from the situation? He knew the situation when he signed the contract. They traded for Tunsil, they resigned Tunsil, they traded away Hopkins and all those other moves BEFORE he signed his deal. The only other thing that changed was they let go of the guy who made all of those decisions and now Watson wants out. So clearly he was fine with those moves because he willingly signed an extension with the team well after those moves were made and didn’t throw his hissy fit until the guy who made them was gone.
Dude’s a selfish overrated diva. He deserves the Jets.

I’m sure you would, the Jets would tell you to piss off and delete their number.
