Good example

Jeremy hill led the entire league in YPC one year with the bengals

Then, he sucked. Wonder what happened........

Henry also played great the last four weeks of last season too.

Please just answer the question

Why did Henry go from under 4 yards a carry in the first 6 games this year, to over 6 yrds a carry in the last 10? Did he change as a person, did he get taller? Did he change his running style?

Please, just entertain me

Sure. Lewan came back, Conklin finally got 100% from ACL. This OL is really really good. So Henry has a good OL that’s the reason he’s doing what he’s doing?

Actually, that never happened.

They had the same QB both years, and actually had a better record in Hill’s second year when he started his decline. So, why don’t you tell me what you think happened?

Im sorry, he was 2nd in the nfl, behind the mighty Justin forsett....

I over looked him like you overlooked the year 2017. My apologies

So Henry started rushing better when the o line and qb position played better? I agree

I’m not sure where we disagree. I think Henry is one of the best RBs in the nfl. But even as one of the best nfl running backs, he couldn’t average over 4 yards a carry when his team around him struggled. That’s my point on why the RB postion isn’t very important. They are SO dependent on other people

Way too many slaves of the moment here.

If each team was asked to pick any RB in the league, the name that would be picked the most wouldn't be Henry.

the same thing that happens to tons of other running backs

They cycle through, they just aren’t that important

Forsett and Hill were freaking 1 and 2 in the entire nfl in YPC for a year. It just isn’t a postion that carries much weight

How on earth would anyone posting here be privy to that sort of information that you post as if it’s a fact?

I’m not necessarily disagreeing with you, but that’s your own opinion

I’d rather have a guy no one wants to tackle in the 4th quarter in January vs a guy who got 33 yards more per game during the season.

I’d rather have the best RB vs the best FG/P/ST player because I value the RB position more than you.

YPC

You gonna latch onto this to try to prove a point? There were 7 backs with more yards than Hill that year, and 5 of them had many highly productive, elite seasons. Hills good season was an anomaly and you’re propping that up to support your argument, and it just doesn’t.

I don’t think it’s much of an opinion to say the running back with almost 500 more yards from scrimmage would be the first off board. But who knows how this board feels

He's trying to give credit for anything other than Henry.

Please tell me which point you disagree with rubble:

1. Henry is a great back with a great year , but Cmac had the better year

2. running back success is highly dependent and players around them, thus making it one of the more overrated positions

Perhaps you should create an excel spreadsheet to explain this to us?

I just mailed Henry a letter saying “great season”

Jesus Christ how big of pussies are y’all with this “credit” thing?
