I wanted so bad to dislike him because of the constant Fournette comparisons but he really is one of the best ever and apparently a good dude as well.
Derrick Henry sets records and acts humble, Fournette flopped in the NFL and goes to Diddy parties. LSU has an issue with RBs doing bad shite

You seem painfully stupid. No offense.

Derrick Henry has been fortunate to avoid any kind of serious injury, outside of breaking his ankle a few years back.
That being said, it doesn't come as a surprise. He takes care of his body - probably better than any other NFL player.
And Baltimore was the absolute best team he could land with. Mobile QB that loves read-option, fantastic blocking OL, a complete dedication to the run on offense, etc.

Yeah, he couldn't have landed in a better situation. Obviously massive help for Jackson too.
Go Broncos BTW. Great defense and a QB with a devil may care attitude can be dangerous.

I have some hope today.
From research, it appears Josh Allen and the Bills offense struggles against teams that can rush the passer, and Denver lead the NFL in sacks this year. Not to mention the Bills only have one loss in Buffalo the last 2 years, which happened to be to the Broncos last season.
It's just going to be tough to win in Buffalo and Josh Allen is still a freak.

Broke his fibula in college.

Refreshing to see a RB that doesn't showboat everytime he gets positive yards.
One of the reasons I loved Dalton Hilliard so much. When he scored or broke an amazing run, he either set the ball down on the ground or just handed it back to the nearest ref. No showboating, no celebration, no dance. Just acted like he’d been there before. (and he had, many times)

Brady used to hang with the likes of Montana and Bradshaw.
Bradshaw wasn't half the QB that Manning and Brees were. Rings don't make a QB. Brady had the fortune of playing with the best kicker and top 10 defense every year. Not to mention the refs in his back pocket so his line could hold all day long. Those are facts but Brady was very good.

The best.
It's hard to argue with his stats along with his rings. People will say longevity made those stats possible but remaining healthy and in shape is part of what makes you an athlete. He did that better than any Hall of Fame quarterback in the history of the sport. The man led the league in passing with over 5,300 yards at the age of 44. That isn't normal.

remember when there where threads comparing fournette and Henry’s first few nfl seasons and lsu homers defending their guy at whits end
no one will remember fournette except lsu fans, while everyone will remember Henry’s name

Love Henry. Reminds me of Earl in style and temperament. Barry, Jim, and Walter also always acted like they had been there before.

Man I hear that. Same with a lot of Bama players but they are just so hard to not like bc they are excellent role models and great ball players. Jalen Hurts is one of my favorites; pure class.
