What the hell you talking about? The Broncos are going big time to improving their defense esp if they sign Ware. All in? I meant were they not committed to doing this last year? Stop being an arse

and leave the old man crap out Junior

Love the Ware signing. Brings some needed toughness.

Did they sign him already? I heard they were the favorites per Scheckter on ESPN with the Eagles a possibility also.

With the Broncos adding Talib and Ward yesterday and being the front runners for Ware. I see another Super Bowl apperence if Manning stays heathy. No breaking news here but they aren't playing around.

So if Ward signs, which linebacker is going to cover somebody, or are they just going to rush 5 all the time.

Lineman need to get healthy. Decker may be gone and offer pulled on DRC, I believe. Plus they let go Bailey. Bailey and DRC were there two starters last years and this year it'll have to be Talib and Chris Harris

Bailey wasn't productive when he started and only started a few games

Still a quality veteran I'd like to have, but for the right price. The low. Chris Harris may have a good year. I think some overlooking the fact that even if Denver DOES pull Ware, he's not the same player he was 5 years ago. Too much wear and tear. Same situation with Bailey and Peppers. Still quality veterans you'd like to have but don't expect too much. The name sells itself in most cases

Still cant believe they paid that much money for Talib.

CBs are going to command more $$$ in general, though.

Hindsight is 20/20 but Pats fricked up by not locking up talib long term last offseason when the corner market was softer than Lil waynes Leather. Probably couldve had talib for half that contract or less

Wonder what BB thinks of the CBs in draft?

The Market disagreed. Other top corners didnt come close to that money he got in this years market. The Broncos Godfathered Talib. Offer he couldnt refuse.

Doesnt have the best track record with drafting corners.

If the Pats dont land Revis or DRC then id expect them to just promote Logan Ryan, which is a really promising prospect, although obviously not at those guys level

I'm not going to lie, I'd be incredibly pissed off. I don't even remotely think we should have matched the Bronco's offer; however, we should have given him a market value offer before FA even started.

I love big Vince, but if he doesn't want to restructure, cut his arse. He's been a big part of the Patriots for a long time, but we've also paid him very well for a long time. I'm not a doctor, but a torn achilles on a man that large isn't a great thing to have.

Im not pissed off at all that Talib got away for that price, because again the Broncos Godfathered him.

And i think Talib was going to test the open market no matter what so i dont think the Pats could have done much to keep him other than to pay that and that just wasnt going to happen.

The bigger mistake was not giving him a long term deal last year, but thats hindsight.

ETA also surprised that Vince hasnt restructured yet. He has to know hes not worth that contract number at this point. Id rather not cut him but if it comes down to it i would understand

all easily attainable in the draft if your GM knows what he's doing.

Champ Bailey started maybe two games. He missed the majority of the season.

Champ Bailey is not comparable to even a slightly declined Ware. Champ is retirement ready at 35. Ware, at 31, might have 1 more elite year, 3 quality years, and then he'll probably be in that average range.

I'd like to see the Broncos do everything they can without losing their ability to resign Demaryius and Von.

edit: I don't necessarily want them to resign Von. He obviously has risks. But I'd like them to retain the ability to do so, should he explode again sometime next year.

Von is in his last year of his contract right?

I love Von Miller but last year after he came back from suspension he never really got into his previous season's form and then he got hurt.

I'm hoping that once he's healthy he'll come in with the right mindset and kick arse again. He was my favorite player to watch when Tebow was here.
