Can we get a still shot of the formation before the snap? How many OL were there?

Yeah. That’s why they called that tripping penalty on the Cows… you know, to rig the game for them.

okay i have changed my mind on this. the lions got screwed.

the official shouldn't have rushed off like that anyways.

i believe the coach went over it pre game and i believe 68 reported and thought the ref acknowledged him by the nod.

the ref could have just mixed up the two guys. he wasn't really paying attention.

This is the only "logical" excuse. Could not be more convenient on Jimmy's special night in Arlington

I don’t know why I even watch this shite anymore. Do people really think the Lions aren’t going to make sure everything they do on this play is by the book? Absolute horseshite.

I would feel better if it was outright rigged, this is just gross incompetence.

There was no way the NFL was letting the Cowboys lose on this night. People can talk all they want about the "Conspiracy" of the league being rigged, but tonight was a shining example.

Ref should have mentioned it on the mic to everyone. Seems like every time the Saints do that type of stuff it’s on the mic loud and clear. Yes it takes away the element of surprise a tad, but the ref has to tell someone on the defense anyway.
Just when you think you’ve seen everything…..

Moving forward the head Ref should report it over the mic and amend the rule book.

I'm sure he did. Just an honest mistake that changed the outcome of the game in favor of the home team. Happens every weekend just like that.

Wouldn’t the formation still have been illegal if he went out for a pass? Pretty sure he was lined up in the tackle position.

God in heaven, please don’t comment if you don’t know the rules. Here’s a hint, there was a reason that he had to go report.

Then why did they call offsides against Dallas on the next 2 point conversion attempt?

Detroit won this game.

Although it is kinda funny to see Goff on the other end of this pathetic officiating.

Cambell said that the refs explanation was that two reported and that’s not allowed . Which isn’t true according to a ref on svp so they fricked up bad
