Te'o would have us believe that he actually had those phone calls with his gf while she was in a coma. He didn't question why there was no hospital noise in the background? No machine noise? No nurses popping in every hour or so?
Schapp is a sucker and Teo knew he could possibly pull the wool over the eyes of one reporter, but couldn't do it to the public hence the ack of cameras.
