You're right. He said she was in the hospital for months yet she's eating fried chicken. And the entire summer while she's recovering from her coma/accident and is diagnosed with leukemia, not once does he visit her.

Then he gets a phone call from his dead gf's phone number telling him he's been catfished and what does he do?

“I don’t like cancer at all,” Te’o said on Dec. 8, two days after Notre Dame says he discovered his girlfriend was just a hoax. “I lost both my grandparents and my girlfriend to cancer.” Or this, on Dec. 9: “She made me promise, when it happened, that I would stay and play.”

Does that sound like someone who was just made aware that the love if his life never existed? Has he no shame? He could have at least said he didn't want to talk about it.

And how can he know someone for 4 years who never existed? There is no evidence that he tweeted her before 10/2011. She had no Facebook. How could he know her for 4 years?

At BEST he got catfished, found out about it and carried on the lie. Because there is no doubt he lied about her existence and her death and those two quotes prove it. And there were more later in Miami.

Pretty obvious at this point that Te'O was in on it. He claims that he talked to her family members on the phone while she was in the hospital. How is one guy supposed to pull that off, especially when the 'mastermind' is someone Te'O knew. Would he not have recognized his own friend's voice?

It is very certain that Te'o lied, it's just that we don't know to what extent.

I'm just getting pissed off because there's actually some people on here that are starting to believe that Te'o is a victim.
