But Manti supposedly met up with her in Hawaii when he was HOME from school. So the dad wants us to believe that he thought Manti always met her outside of his home, went on dates, but never brought her over to meet the parents? Not once when they saw each other in Hawaii did the parents think to say "why don't we cook dinner tonight, and invite your girlfriend."

That is my biggest question. No fricking way they never asked to meet her.

They won't release the results of the investigation nor will they even say the name of the company that performed the investigation.

I'm not sure any school would release that type of info involving a student athlete without their permission.

Plausible, whether you like it or not. WHo knows what goes on between father and son?

This only means the dad wasn't in on it.
This is the point I'm trying to make.

But it underscores that Manti was b/c he told his dad they met in Hawaii and at Stanford.
Most likely.

that may be your point. my point is at least 4 people have quoted the father as SAYING he met her. those people cant read.

Got it, and I agree. People need to read the article and its quotes of the other articles that back it up.

the people believing te'o sound just as gullible as him

No one thinks he didn't lie about things. Its the people who despite every shred of evidence proving them wrong think that Manti made it all up and there was no catfish that are gullible.

they can't legally say the name of the company they hired?

I can understand not releasing the results, but not even naming the company? Come on.

ND administration is just lying.

did any of you fricks who thinks the dad says he met her even read the article in the original post?

I thinking this is starting to sound familiar:

JJ: "Dad, I swear, I wasn't even AT Shady's that night."

Who knows? Maybe the organization is quality and legit but wants no publicity for this. might have put it in the agreement, and ND may have insisted on controlling any public comments about the investigation. Which I can see.

Fair enough. But at the very least proves that he did not merely find out he was "duped" on December 6, 2012. And at the most, it is evidence that the father was in on it as well.
