Or went to visit her in the hospital while she was, you know, dying of cancer. I mean, I don't know about any of you but if my girlfriend was dying of fricking leukemia I'd be at the hospital every day. I realize that in this case the "girlfriend" was 2,000 miles away, but you'd think he would have made an effort to get there at least one time.

I do agree with Outsports that the whole "girlfriend being in a car crash and THEN being diagnosed with leukemia" story would fit the gay stereotype of being overly dramatic.

If you do an investigation and are not in control of discussing the results with the public, you may not want to be identified if it turns out the entity controlling the flow of info to the public makes your investigation look like poo poo.
I'm speculating, but if the question was why, that's one possible scenario. And don't say it's not probable. None of this shite is probable.

The company may have wanted to remain anonymous, look I know what your saying but I think ND did get an investigation done. They can also interpret the results of that investigation anyway they want. They have to cover or limit the amount of damage done to their image. Any univ would do this.
