The upshot is she doesn't have any kids. I know that would be hard for lesbians but still.

Did she ever apologize to BYU?

Nope. Pretended that she did nothing wrong.

Absolutely insufferable. Just a miserable person.

I feel bad for usce fans, suck at every sport now except women’s basketball. That’s torture enough but then add Dawn as your coach

You are making what she did racist. She is simply saying that a sympathetic player gets more calls. Many posters on TD complain about Patrick Mahomes getting too many calls.

It must be an awful life seeing race in everything. Do you leave your television on to avoid seeing a black screen?

Yet we were coming into this thing undefeated, doing something that's unprecedented at the time.

Does she know what "unprecedented" means? There've been multiple undefeated champs in WBB.

Did she even bring up race here?

Implied. She brought up Caitlin Clark’s name when mentioning Bueckers.

Funny, I didn’t hear her bring up JuJu Watkins, who actually got more attention than any women’s college basketball player this year.

She hasn't gone against Juju in any championship game.

In these days of amazing power, wealth and opportunities for black people it must be tough to find racism in every situation good or bad.

True. She might have meant the first South Carolina team to do it.

The racial angle just isn't there. People are reading that into it, or letting their own feelings distort what was said.

We are a dominate team, we win rings, but all the talk was about Clark and now Paige.

If you read that and say racist, not much I can say. Maybe she is, but nothing about what she said makes her a racist smh.

It would be like Curry saying all the talk is about Edwards

Yea if you are dominating in your field , but all the talk is not about you….

You bring it up, you must be racist

I notice , whites never bring up white racist. Blacks never bring up black racists.

It’s like we don’t really care about right and wrong , we care about wrong in ppl who don’t look like us or we don’t like

But that isn't how it is with Dawn

With her, it's:

quote:

Yea if you are dominating in your field , but all the talk is not about you….and only you. . .and nothing or nobody else.. . .at all. . . .even a little bit . .even if they are breaking generation-spanning records
