I wonder how many people here have never left their bubble/had an intelligent conversation with members of an opposing view point.
It goes for both sides of the table, but some of these takes or thoughts are insane.

Or he could go and meet Trump and attempt to start a dialogue to aid PR and get back on the right track.

Right, why wouldn’t minorities be proud to meet a man who said a group of white supremacists contained very fine people?

1. Factually, he said this about both sides and considering what we know about Antifa/BLM and all the lies, defamation and violence incitement they spread, y'all should be thankful he was so fair in the assessment
2. If you actually took time to READ THE FULL DAMN TRANSCRIPT, you'd know this is all bullshite he clearly condemned the white supremacists and neo-Nazis while also saying there were fine people on both sides the point is we cannot deny that he condemned the white supremacists and neo-Nazis and separated the fine people from the douches on both sides

He was giving cover to people marching with Nazis. There’s no way to spin that. Why do you think he was so hesitant to condemn them at first and then walked it back after he did?

This is an outright heinous LIE. He explicitly condemned them.
Stop lying!

And to people marching with BLM and Antifa as well without a permit in the areas they marched by the statue (permit belonged to the Nazis or whatever those people were) and, if you possessed reading comprehension, you would know that but Hillary fricktards are gonna believe what they want to believe, that's not the point the point is he condemned the white supremacists and all that

Bc UNLIKE OBAMAfrickTARD he didn't have all the facts of everything yet and didn't rush to judgment on things and thank God for that but you like socialism and Hillary so obviously you'll be intellectually dishonest

Because his staff begged him to repeatedly. Then he walked it back.

Yes, if there’s one thing that defines Trump, it’s restraint. He’s always waiting for the facts.

This is what Trump said in full. Maybe you should turn off MSNBC and stop listening to NPR?
“Excuse me, they didn’t put themselves down as neo-Nazis, and you had some very bad people in that group. But you also had people that were very fine people on both sides. You had people in that group – excuse me, excuse me, I saw the same pictures you did. You had people in that group that were there to protest the taking down of, to them, a very, very important statue and the renaming of a park from Robert E. Lee to another name.”
“I’m not talking about the neo-Nazis and white nationalists because they should be condemned totally.”
