Spot on. If we lose 10-9 I won't be happy but at least we would do it being who we are...a team that mashes with a shitty bullpen. Losing 3-1 stings.

game 7 is a coin flip. I could see Houston getting hot and throwing a big number but our road bats have been tentative and we haven't navigated the 8-9 spot very well. They need to put reddick up in the 6 hole or pinch for him in any leverage situation.

We needed Verlander to show up today, he did. We needed the offense to give him a few runs of support. They didn't. We lose.

He retired relatively young do to arthritis, stopping his career in 1966 at 30 years of age. He hasn't played in 51 years, but he was 30 when he stopped, so it throws people for a loop.
