I just think it's funny that everyone is taking the "this is no big deal" route but god forbid puig flips his bat or shakes his feet in the batters box

Don't try to pretend it's not forced. They're playing in the World Series. But yeah sure, they're more motivated to win it now because Yuli did something meeaannn. A pregame huddle in the dugout? It's pretty lame. They're no more motivated to win it than they were before. They're just going to make a big production about it now.
