Anyone think we might look at renegotiating Altuve's contract in the offseason? Scheduled to make $6M in 18 and 19. Pay him what he's worth and lock him up for about 7 years.

Just take all the playoff revenue and add it to the Altuve fund

Often times, the standard "go-to" phrase before a big game or event is "My body is ready".

I don't think it is possible that ANYONE'S body could have possibly been ready for what we witnessed last night. Today, I physically feel like I played last night.

It was one of the most exhausting 5 hours of television I will ever deal with. Felt so defeated when they tied it up.

The best part was the other day when he said even his wife gets pissed when he picks on the side of things she is rooting for

So let's play hinch. Tomorrow we are up 3-2 in 7th verlander is at 110 pitches. Who do you use to get the last nine outs?

Peacock will get some I gotta think.

Do you go Morton for an inning? I think I'd rather Lance since he showed he can look good out of the pen on the other hand then you are pitching Morton on short rest if it goes to 7.
Harris?
Devo?
McHugh?

I think with a lead I'd go all in and throw McCullers to get the 789 innings

Verlander has to be so stoked right now...he took a big risk leaving the Tigers for a new team, has been embraced immediately and embraces Houston as well, and now he gets a chance to close out a WS and cement his legacy as one of the all time greats and a champion. I'd imagine he is going to be so dialed in tomorrow.

Comparatively, we get our second crack at Hill, and this team has hit all the pitchers their second time around so much better than the first. (Maybe with the exception of Maeda). I gotta think he's cramping his pants and will have a ton of pressure on him since they face elimination.

Leaving a terrible detriot team for a young up and coming team wasn't a big risk. It made sense in every way other than having an emotional attachment to a team that no longer wanted him.

Should've just gave him a bump like the royals did Perez a few years ago. I'm sure Altuve is well taken care of in the organization but he is criminally underpaid considering his track record and value.

If there is any lead you go McCullers.

Thought he was out for game 6? Houston radio said he wasn't going to pitch. Maybe they are wrong though.

I'd have a hard time going LMJ with a 1 run lead. Maybe 2 or 3. It's a huge risk to send him out, give up something stupid to Puig, lose and then be in a bind for Wednesday.

Verlander obviously goes as long as possible. Then piece it together with Harris and Musgrove.
