I think Tuve has shown enough power to straightaway RF to let the ball travel more, but Bregman lacks that kind of power.

I agree. I think mostly Tuve has had a lot of power.

Bregman has been lost after his injury. Bregman should be a right handed Michael Brantley.

Nothing surprising, just procedural at this point but Yuli's $8 million option was picked up for 2022.

Baker set to return to Astros in 2022 (reports)

Looks like at least one more year of frick Off, Dusty Baker.

Ugh this stinks.

Outside looking in it’s probably the right move, but watching every day this is arse and I’m pretty bummed right now. Doesn’t mean I won’t be excited to watch this team again next year once we get closer to April.

Don't like it but it was obviously happening.

I'm very happy it's one year and not two.

Crane said the area where the Bus at Union Station and Home Plate Bar and Grill will become an entertainment venue like Ballpark Village in St. Louis and The Battery in Atlanta. That will start in next 12 months.

Astros offer Correa 5yr/$160M. I don’t think that’s gonna do it.

MLB sources: The @astros have offered free-agent shortstop Carlos Correa a five-year contract worth $160 million, averaging $32 million a year.

The spring offer was 5 years $125 million. Almost there Jim.

Wonder if Correa poo poo’s this deal too.

That’s pretty damn good and gives him the opportunity to reach free agency again at 32

No doubt, but he’s never getting those years in Houston. It’s an honest effort by the FO imo. Not
going to be upset at either party if he doesn’t take it.

He wants 10, Astros are at 5. Think you're gonna have to meet him at 7-8 to have any shot at keeping him but realistically he can find 10 on the market. A guy with his injury history is gonna chase those years.

100%. 7-8. I think of it like Correa wants the Astros to tell him they want him as an Astro for life. I don’t blame him.
