He'll still answer to Manfred, only on Crane's payroll. Seems legit.

this sucks.

Anyone find any good tshirts celebrating the trash can/world series?

I've been looking but surprisingly most are negative

Peter Woodfork is intriguiging. Much better than the talk of Bobby Evans.

Peter Woodfork has a very good resume.

One of Manfred's underlings.

Dusty's kids are grown now, so probably won't be wandering around the plate.

Maybe we can incorporate them into the hitter's eye some way to signal our batters the sign.

The 30-for-30 on how the Astros went from being 9 outs away from a 2nd title in 3 years to having Dusty Baker as their manager in just 3 short months is going to be epic, but for all the wrong reasons

Some may call these negative, but I love them.

Now that we have our fearless leader...question for those more plugged in than I. Should I give up all hope that our #5 starter isn't on the roster yet? Getting tired of being disappointed every time I check for news.

i don’t really expect any personnel moves without someone in charge of the front office

I have a hunch (lol hunch) that Brandon Bielak will emerge as the fifth starter sooner than later.

Yeah I think he’s definitely in the mix for a rotation spot this year even if they wait to give it to him

Then ole Dusty can drive his pure virgin arm right into a wall

1) JV
2) Grienke
3) McCullers
4) Peacock

5) Urquidy
Pruitt
Whitley
Framber
Cionel
Abreu
Martes

At this point, I'm almost certain Peacock will be penciled in for a rotation spot. One of the only remaining options with significant ML starting experience. I'd think Urquidy has the leg up for the #5 spot but that's likely an open competition in spring.

He's a forgotten man but he's got major league stuff. Ultimately, I think he ends up in the bullpen.

Watch that highlight. That's a wicked slider he throws.
