I'd love to move him to closer but I think the team and Lance are hell bent on him being a starter. Best case is probably him missing a good chunk of the season but being lights out from the pen in October.

He's a better fit for an Andrew Miller type role as much as I want him to be a starter. Doesn't do the Astros a bit of good for him to start if he can't finish the season.

20 starts and then coming out of the bullpen in October would be fantastic for LMJ.

Bullpen has to see some shake ups I would think. How about a lefty in the pen for one.

Any chance Josh James moves back into the rotation? That was the plan going into this year. He never really blossomed as a reliever either.

I'm curious what we do at catcher. We've shite on Chirinos but you have to adjust your overall expectations for how he compares to other catchers collectively. He was 2nd overall in WAR. 2nd in OBP. 2nd in walks.
Can he replicate his season in his age 36 season? Can you find a comparable replacement?

Reasonable. If we retain AJ we might as well. Added bonus will be the return of simpler times. Random summer Saturday $5 tickets, all you can eat seats and moving from the outfield second level to on the 1st baseline dugout will be nice
