Brendan Rodgers up to .304 after hitting his 4th double today. 7 RBI in 8 games. He's playing with the B squad though. Dubon is being slotted in with the other starters.

The Astros have nothing to lose to let Rodgers start the season with the big league club. I really think he can contribute more than Dubon at 2nd

Yeah I’m not sure why he wouldn’t make the team at this point and at least see if his swing changes are real. The upside is pretty substantial if they are

Higher upside than Dubon. I'd rather see him start than give Dubon an extended run as starter. Guy isn't a ML starter.

Also, Luis Guillorme has hit well and played great defense. He's made a case for himself. Gotta pick one of him or Rodgers though.

I’d love if they could work something out where Guillorme is stashed in AAA. I’m not sure he will get a major league opportunity elsewhere and he’s quality depth in case somebody goes down, way better than some of the other options in my opinion.

It’s easy to see Rodgers path to being a 2-3 WAR 2B if he starts lifting the ball more and adds power as a result. I love Dubie but we all know he’s more quality utility guy than every day player

Yeah Duhons place on this team is to be the utility guy. He doesn’t need a set spot

Duhon has to beat out Fruge and Hebert first

Yainer hit his first HR of the spring. Dezenzo 3-4 with a home run. Chas picked up 2 more walks. He hasn't hit a ton but he's been walking like crazy. 9 walks in 27 PAs now and only 3Ks.

Wesneskis line wasn't terribly sharp

3.1IP 2H 3ER 4BB 3K.

Rodgers picked up a hit in 2 ABs in relief of our apparent starter Dubon who went 0-2.

I feel like Wesneski is going to have moments of brilliance and moments of extreme frustration. His stuff is clearly very good but the command really comes and goes. He’s a fifth starter at the end of the day and if it clicks the upside is high

He might be a pretty awesome reliever if he gets moved there
