We won a WS with Bagwell having his ear. I'll show myself out.

What kind of GM are you going to get given the present circumstances

I mean, let's just go with politically correct and really give the writers something to chew on

Does Sammy Davis Jr have any offspring the right age?

Preferably a female, or better yet a male that identifies female

I am not opposed to being big on analytics, assuming I have the definition of what analytics are correct.

I think all the "spin rate" stuff for pitchers falls under "analytics", right?

And having a certain type of hitter who makes contact and doesn't strike out much falls under analytics, also, right?

But I do agree that there has to be a certain personal feel to some decisions too.

Crane also mentioned looking at Catcher, OF and you "never have enough pitching..."

Maybe not, but we damned sure had more than everyone else and is the main reason there will be another gold banner at MMP.

I have to think the pitching comment refers to JV

Back to GM, there will be some tough decisions coming up akin to the letting Springer and Correa go variety

Framber and Tucker, Bregman and Altuve

Crane will need to have someone in the position to cushion those blows

Crane knows it don't last forever. He's got 2 or 3 years with an excellent chance here to win another WS.

Dusty Baker is a certified genius compared to the US soccer head coach.

I saw 2 of our kicks on goal later in the match, and I’m not joking when I say that I could have passed the ball to Iran’s goalie in a very similar fashion, with my left foot too. LOL

Baggy's got the one page "do he got that dawg in him" questionnaire in the film room

Bit of a chicken/egg scenario as analytics tend to back up dudes that are studs. Mike Trout is a WAR God.

But if we want to go back to the eyeball test I guess that works too. Altuve was always going to be a one-in-a-million player for a multitude of reasons

Honestly think there's value to be found in left handed pull hitters with the shift ban next year.

Would you give Contreras 4 years at 18 million per season? He reportedly wants 5/100M or so. I don't think he gets more than 4.

2B Altuve
SS Pena
LF Yed
3B Bregman
RF Ted
1B Abreu
DH Brantley
CF Chas
C Contreras (can DH/LF/1B)
Bench: Maldy, Hensley, Jake, Dubon

My first reaction is no

Only from my memory of watching him play, which is a small sample size.

His biggest asset is being able to provide production when he is catching. Would we use him enough? Is he up to being the game caller we are accustomed to?

I think he’s a good bat from the C position, and I know he can play other positions, but is he worth Abreu-like money?

He would have to be able to play C daily and call a good game. I hear that’s the knock on him. Not a very cerebral guy

He's going to be a half-time catcher here even after Maldy. That's pretty clear. The dude can rake. Having him 7th in the order would be pretty fricking insane.

I would rather see Brantley get 2 for 30 with a team buyout option on 2nd year

We’re gonna get Maldonadoed anyway at C. Give Lee a chance to get some reps
