That's a big split, considering the sky was falling yesterday
plus we have Keuchel, LMJ and VV going against the Royals, hopefully we can win that series

Good Split. Need to take 2 of 3 from KC now.
Also, Correa is a god.

I caught the last half inning today anyway. Jabroni back in everyone's good graces?

We get a legit starter soon and lowrie can come back and be anything near what he was we are a dangerous team.

I think they put Feldman back in the rotation and move Velasquez to Qualls spot in the pen.
Keuchel
cueto
McHugh
mccullers
feldman.

ome teams are concerned with Hamels’ poor performance in interleague play while others see it just as a fluky thing. Hamels has a career 4.73 ERA across 31 interleague starts.
That's no bueno.

Since the first couple innings in Colorado jabrone has been way better. Best start of the year today.we absolutely needed it.

At some point, they will alternate VV and LMJ to keep innings down. Plus, they could plug in a Straily. This is all assuming that a big gun is acquired (and Obie gets traded, which is possible).

I'm a little concerned about Orbit though.

LMJ and VV going against the Royals
The Royals are last in walks. But they also have the fewest strikeouts and are 2nd in batting average. Will be an interesting series given our starters.
Keuchel is largely a ground ball pitcher and KC has the 2nd highest batting average. Defense needs to be on point.
LMJ and VV are in general strikeout guys who issues some walks. KC doesn't do any of those things frequently.

They will be facing a lineup with 8 All-Stars!

Also (some of you may have seen on TCB)
I was looking at McHugh's numbers. I've been critical of him this year. But there's been 2 starts this year where he just got totally shelled.
In his other 14 starts he's got a 3.45 ERA. You can't just discount those 2 starts because they did happen. But conversely you can say outside of 2 games, he's pitched well for us.
