I guess that’s true. Bregman has been brutal though. I don’t think it matters all that much in the end, we’ve put up 8-9 runs multiple times with this lineup against Boston

Yuli just needs more at bats, Bregman isn’t helping

Also the way the lineup turns over due to Chas/Maldy, Altuve coming up with no one on base makes the few times he does run into a HR only a solo shot. Would like to see him up with runners on base more

That was well after and after reading all y’all’s shite posts. You literally were laughing at our thread

You have every right to be a dick in a Braves thread if yall win tomorrow. Some other astros fans are chill, you’re just a little bitch.

I encourage the shite talk post game. Its part of the fun. But you wont see me posting shite if one of your players gets hurt. That crosses the line a little.

Altuve and Bregman have been absolutely terrible. Killing us. If this were June, mix up the lineup and see if it gives you a spark. But in 2 of the world series, I don't think it's wise to totally shake up the lineup and do something that hasn't been done this year.

I also still trust Altuve to potentially come through or even get hot. Bregman just doesn’t look 100% still

He’s out of shape and had a weird year

They are noticeably more vocal and in our thread than any Astros fans were in theirs

To be completely fair, the Astros thread is pinned to the top. I originally thought it was just a game thread and then realized I was in yalls thread and apologized immediately.

Obviously some people are going to be obnoxious when they win, and I’m sure there will be a couple Stros fans in the Braves thread when they win a game this series, but it’s more noticeable and annoying when you’re one of the people that doesn’t act that way after a win.

Correa has sneaky looked overmatched a bunch too.

I’ve no faith in Bregman doing anything big. I still have some trust in Altuve running into a ball in a big spot, but Bregman is just lost. Feels like he’s hit one ball hard (homer off Sale) this postseason.

I just hope more than anything Dusty has a quicker trigger on the starter. We can and will put up runs on their staff and pen in this series but it needs to be in striking distance. With the off day after tomorrow you can be aggressive, if Urquidy blows pull his arse and lean on Cristian.

Don’t let it get to 5-0 again

Honestly if I could change the lineup I'd go

Yuli
Brantley
Correa
Ted
Yed
Bregman
Altuve
Chas
Maldy

Damn we think alike swapping Ted and Yed was my only difference

would set the innings and get people on base a lot better than we do on nights like tonight

I'm intrigued by the idea of Yuli leading off. Unconventional yes. But it's something I've thought about in reshuffling an ideal lineup.

Maybe swap Ted and Brantley in that lineup.

Dusty Baker on whether he considered hitting for Maldonado in the fourth with two on and one out: “That’s way too early. Far too early. You do that if you’re panicking and I don’t know how to panic.”

It's never to early to hit for one of the worst hitters in baseball when you're down 4 runs in the world series and have 2 men on base.

Yea it’s not to early or a panic when your starter is already out of the game and you need to be offensive as possible to get back into it. That’s just the reality of the situation

Dusty’s been fine this postseason but that is stupid

I’m not sure this pitching staff can win a world series. We just do not have a quality pitching staff

Only good news is, our lineup couldn’t have been worse and they had a ton of breaks go there way
