I was raised to hate the Cubs and laugh at them when they fail each year because of the old NL Central. Of course that's gone after last year, but at least they failed this year.
I'd probably agree with you on Apocalypse if it was the Cubs in there, but I can handle the Dodgers unlike the Cubs and Yankees.

Dodgers haven't won shite in my lifetime. It wouldn't bother me that much. But if the Yankees win this year I might lose my mind. Because we will literally never hear the end of how they beat all three 100-win teams in a "rebuilding" year to win a WS. Literally never.
Thankfully, I have faith in Verlander and the belief that the offense won't shite themselves for the sixth straight game.

This isn't exactly an LSU game
High demand, don't see how they would be easy to get especially right before when EVERYONE else is wanting them. I got the NLCS tix right before in 05 and had awesome seats.

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't concerned about getting boned. There's no doubt that MLB, Fox and all the media want not just the LA/NY market matchup but the whole story line of Dodgers/Yankees. The storied franchises. I love our Astros but I'm aware of where we stand as far as appeal and prestige.

My day keeps getting better... been traveling since 5:20Pm Thursday. Have a quick layover in Kuwait... passenger in the row directly in front of me puked his frickin guts out... had the entire cabin smelling putrid. Fortunately, he was just drunk off his arse, so hopefully I didn't just get exposed to the EbolAids virus.
Hopefully I'll still make it into the hotel in Bahrain before the game.

I'm not going to lie... I grabbed the barf bag just in case I couldn't control myself... it was bad. Feel lucky no one else puked. Glad business class was only half full.
