Springer leads off the next inning. Comfort zone. I smell a homer.

So, McHugh says no pain in arm/elbow. Plans to throw 90-100 pitches in next outing.

I'd imagine if it goes well, we may see him back in about 2 weeks

ETA: he also said he "found" his curveball in the last outing, so that's good news for him

Not our best showing far. 0-6 with 4K for the Astros tonight.

Hoping they're saving it for Friday. Exhibition, who cares. If it was for home field, that's a different story.

It is the kind of pitching they'll see come Series time though.

Damn. An Astro hasn't gotten a hit in the All Star game since Hunter Pence in 2011.

Also, some random facts from the 1st half I stole off Reddit

Days of the Week (win/loss record)
Monday 8-2
Tuesday 10-4
Wednesday 11-3
Thursday 6-4
Friday 8-6

Sunday 10-4

-Saturdays seem to be the toughest day for the Astros, 7-6 record with 20 runs scored and 17 given up.

-Thurs thru Saturdays have not been kind, 21-16 record (.567 win pct).

-2.58 million have seen the Astros with 1.72 million seeing a victory.

-Bauer and Vargas, both have two wins against us.

-4 extra inning games, 4 wins

40k in attendance, 10-7 record
30-39k in attendance 16-10 record
20-29k in attendance 22-8 record
sub 20k in attendance, 12-4 record

-We have been shutout twice, done it five times.

Welp, I'm 0-2.

GOATcock's walkathon vs. Angels and Yankees bombing our bullpen.

They won't see Max Scherzer out there grunting his arse off for one inning.

Yeah those baws were going max effort for 1 inning. Still that's closer to playoff pitching we will see. You ain't scoring 10 r against those teams. Need to sharpen the pen so we can win 4-3 games.

We're currently 10-6 in one run games, which is good. Thing is, we've played in far fewer than the ML average.

Also, current run differential:
LAD +163
HOU +162
No one else is even close.
