9 straight playoff losses at home. NINE! Defies the laws of baseball.
And betting favorites in all 9 games. The odds of losing all 9 of those games given each betting line is 1 in 1646 or 0.06%. Unfathomable.

What pinch hitters does espada rollout in the 9th?

At least the Astros stayed true to form. They’ve done this all year. Not much pitching. No clutch hits. Mediocre fielding. Questionable coaching. They are truly just an 81-81 team. Not terrible. Not good.

Obviously it’s something that has to be overlooked given his talent, but I just personally hate seeing a player not try.
Not saying he has to bust it on an obvious out but something like that he should at least make an honest effort.
I understand he’s dejected, but after he made the mature and appropriate comments (opposite the ones from Sousa) yesterday, just don’t like seeing stuff like that. Old school, I know, but that’s just me.
It’s not the first time he’s done that either.

Hopefully that’s it for Hader as an Astro and they can shed the salary and get some return.
Great player, performed very well, just the rest of the roster no good enough to give him big time opportunities outside of game 1 against Detroit in ‘24

I’m only watching now for the crowd reactions after the third out. This team better look A LOT different when baseball resumes, whenever that is.

I don’t think there is another choice at this point.

Walker striking out and getting booed would be fitting.

Couldn’t tell if the boos came. Definitely wasn’t loud.
Astros the first team out?

Thank God it’s over! Blow it up Crane!

Didn’t get a baserunner after the bases loaded opportunity.
This series was the perfect encapsulation of the ‘26 Astros. Crushing walks, sloppy play in the field, stretches of uninspired at bats and can’t hit with RISP
Sad

There's always next year.
Well, probably not next year but some time in the future.
Maybe.
