I hate so much that Espada’s contract is expired and it doesn’t constitute as a formal firing. Pisses me off quite frankly

He should do it in the 9th inning. Fire Espada.

That’ll do it for BA as an Astro. Lot more good moments than bad, but lots of bad the last two years.

Abreu was another guy we should have traded at the deadline and didn’t
Thing about him… he doesn’t straight up suck like some guys… but he’s just as likely to give up three runs as he is to strike out the side.
You just never know what you’re going to get on a specific day. We got the bad one today

Hader warming up. Espada thinks we have the lead

You weren’t getting anything for a rental middle reliever anyway and he really stabilized down the stretch to help you get back in position to make the playoffs
Not your series when notoriously wild Jordan Hicks is pumping strikes with his stuff. Wicked

39-44 at home once this one ends. Another game of 3 or less runs. It’s hard to take any pride in winning the division when you go out like this. Losing twice to a team that hasn’t won a postseason game since 2005. Never even led at any point. Players griping because the fans are booing. What an embarrassment. It would have been better to end the season with some hope after the last two games at Oakland verses this crap.

It’s as low as it’s been in 10 years that’s for sure.
Rudderless and a good bit of bad money. Bleak

The Tigers series was super depressing. It’s pretty sad we’re about to be 0-4 in the last 3 years of postseason baseball.

This HAS to be addressed. Plenty of blame to go around but this team just doesn’t hit at home. And they haven’t for several years now. Different iterations of the team. Different coaches. Different managers. Same shite. I can’t explain it, but they have to address it.

Way to hustle Yordan.

True story - he was Paul Marinara’s butler at LSU

9 straight playoff losses at home. NINE!
Defies the laws of baseball.

Yes. Hard shot to the hole between short and third with the 3B in a shift playing at the edge of the grass. He had to backhand it and spin and throw a long way. They showed Yordan about 3 steps from the bag just coasting.
