I don’t know his contract situation, but I’d probably send him packing today if I was in the Astros front office.
They could DFA him or option him.. either way he'd get claimed or sign somewhere for the last month but don't think he'd be post-season roster eligible.
I think that's the case..

He wants to get DFA’d screw that. He doesn’t get to get let go that easy. That lazy POS would love to have his season get cut short

Maybe this tweet reveals a little more. Salazar wanted curve, Framber wanted sinker...Framber simply ignores the call by Salazar point blank.

I'm keeping a close eye out for Framber in the dugout shots tonight. It wouldn't surprise me if he was quietly invited to stay home today.

I hate all of this bc Framber has been a huge part of our success the last decade, especially by staying healthy when our pitchers have dropped like flies
I even felt bad for him at one point cause it’s clear he gets in his head when the slightest thing goes wrong and that’s gotta be tough as hell to deal with
But his actions the last month or 2 are complete bullshite and that sucks he’s gonna end his tenure in Houston that way but he brought it on himself
All that aside tonight, looking forward to Cy Costanza bringing us a much needed W tonight. frick the Yanks

Frambers agent stepping in for free agency damage control
Maybe his agent can also convince him it's in his best interest to pitch well the next two months

Would be incredible for him to protect Yordan
Tbh even if him and Jake come back we don’t really have the pitching to do anything in October, which is ironic cause pitching has been what’s carried us to this point
But Framber has been complete arse, so it’s Brown then a bunch of question marks. Combine that with No Hader and it doesn’t seem too bright
Just making the postseason would be a nice achievement considering all of the injuries and the fact we aren’t very good

We have been a different team without him. Not sure he comes back but man that would be about the only boost that would do anything getting us past a wild card.

Isaac Paredes said he will travel to West Palm Beach to continue his rehab at the Astros' spring training facility. He is not 100 percent yet, but is cleared to do all baseball activities, including hitting. Paredes said he is unsure if he will play again this season.
It would be great to have him back. However, I’m still trying to figure out where he would play? 2B? Looks like he did have some starts there a couple of years back. DH him and have Yordan permanently in LF and Altuve at 2B? Pinch hitter only?

Astros and injuries worry me. We heard the worst on him now he might be back. My fear is he comes back and isn't fully healthy and then next year becomes an issue.
It's a tough call and even though they are struggling I still feel good with Javier and Garcia back in the rotation

At this point we're down to 23 games and hes not due back in any imminent fashion. So we may only be talking about a handful of regular season games. I don't think they're going to just plop him at 2nd with little prep, plus a guy coming off the hamstring injury playing the middle of the field is less than ideal.
So I still don't know how it works with all these guys next season. But in a time limited post season setting, Yordan is probably the every day left fielder, Tuve goes back to 2B and Paredes is the DH.

Makes the most sense. And also, I agree with the other posts expressing concern for making the injury worse. But the fact that he’s out there working out makes me think him playing in the postseason is on the table.

I'd think it would have to be this.
Here's to hoping the Framber debacle some how galvanizes this team and they play great baseball down the stretch and into October.
