The only stipulation is that it has to be more than 3k, correct?

I believe so. You sign an agreement with them when you buy it

The cheapest 3k one I saw was 3299.

I ended up spending like 4500 on our mattress. They also had a 4 year no interest deal with the GF credit card.

I needed a new bed anyway, so I said what the hell

So the mattress doesn’t have to be fully paid off before the potential WS clinch? That’s badass.

Well, it's not completely free. Let's say you buy a mattress for $4000 and the Astros win the WS, you get a "free" mattress, which is really a $4000 gift, which is treated as taxable income. In a 25% tax bracket, your mattress actually costs you $1000 in income taxes. Still a great deal if you were in the market for one anyway, but a couple of people I know weren't ready for that surprise back in 2017.

I almost bought one in 2017 right after Harvey but had absolutely nowhere to put it with all my furniture basically in storage waiting for my house to get repaired.

You should buy when you get to MMP.

There isn’t a financial advantage to buying early.

We went to both Rockies games, came away with a Bregman batting practice home run ball, and caught my first in game foul ball in the Top of the 9th yesterday. Saw 2 wins and 25 runs for the good guys. Was a fun series.

How did u get to see home batting practice?

They are almost always done before gates open, although I have seen the last 2 Astros batters, including Bregman, on occasion

Fearless predictions for the weekend:

--The Astros will score at least 30 runs.

--Aaron Sanchez will give up a hit.

--Chris Davis will strike out (if he plays)

Got there at 430pm, walked into the Crawford boxes just as the Stros started batting.

I certainly don’t wish any ill will towards him (particularly now that he’s in the NL) imo he was the heart and soul of that 2015 team that was such a joy to watch after what had come before it. With that said he wanted to get paid at his 2015 level when he hasn’t been that guy since he injured his neck in 2017. We tried to pay him in 2016 but he turned it down.

I wish no ill-will on DK at all. He is a part of the Astros winning a title. But didn't we try to tell the Braves fans this is what they were getting with 2019 DK? And didn't they respond by calling us bitter assholes?
