He’s definitely regressed defensively the last couple seasons

I thought your hoa banned Jake Meyers

I am generally concerned about a few things...
Yordan is cooling off. Pena is cold. Everyone else is hit or miss.
The Rangers have a lot of games coming up with the A's and Angels. The next couple of weeks are a little worrisome

Cam’s five swings thus far have been so bad
Six
In seven pitches.
Some of the worst shite I’ve seen

The Rangers have a dogshit roster, even worse than whatever Ryno and wahoocs think of ours. Our series with them wasn’t a fluke.

Astros have a pretty good stretch after this series.
3 @ SF, and then M’s (they are still daddy), Angels, and A’s at home. Need to have this be a winning road trip and then have a good homestand. September is pretty tough
Not great from Lambert, but not bad. Padres really grinded him out. Merrill won a long at bat on a high fastball and JP should have got him out of the 4th. Feels like he’s teetering on regression but he competes so hard with his stuff he’s still able to get outs
King is gross. Really tough out, needed a big hit in the first once he wiggled out of that he was dominant outside the pitch to Trammell

Jake now. Kinda like what Joe did there despite result
This dude throws so hard we are looking at Jake’s bat exploding and a blooper landing right over the first baseman’s head

He is now. Bases loaded 2 outs.

Cannot believe they threw him 2 change ups in the zone and he didn’t fluke his way into a hit
Posted on 8/8/26 at 8:22 pm to TigerFan91
At least we get our best bats in the 8th instead of against Miller in the 9th

Fire that mfer into the sun and if his father’s old arse wants to ride with him…

Damn Jake. That was your big chance

Its so awesome that we put a pinch hitter in the game who was hitting 175 in AAA at the biggest moment. What Joe Expedia think was going to happen?

Now watch them break convention and put Miller out for the 8th.

If there’s a team you should do that with it’s the Astros
