The slow mo was a great look at why. Pitcher was still running to the bag while Altuve is leaving his feat, cutting off his acceleration and then hits the dirt which immediately slows him down significantly. And the pitcher barely beat him. Just keep running. No idea why coaches haven't stopped this.

Hypothetically if we had a healthy rotation, I think Arrighetti would be a great long reliever kinda in that Bielak role. He’s great at missing bats

I’m sure they’ve tried, but Altuve gonna make the wrong base running decision every time.

I agree with Dana 100%. Worst 1B production in the league, but nah we didn't need to trade for one. I agree we're good.

They too busy being cheap and giving out insane contracts/awful trade deals

Flip them over. (Stole this from one of you gents from earlier this year. It still cracks me up.)

Yall remember the off season when I stumped for trading Bregman and signing Chapman when he was still floating around late. Should have done it. I'm pretty sure I said we'd take a production hit but still worth it. I was wrong on the production. He's been worlds better than Bregman. Using the same Bbref WAR metric, Bregman has 1.5 WAR to Chapman's 5.

Very nice outing by Spencer, but for the second day in a row one mistake that the opposition barrels may be too much for this offense to overcome

He’s gonna be a free agent again this off-season almost certainly

5IP 1 run 11K from a rookie with a 5.58 ERA. If you can't win that, gfy.

This offense is complete dogshit. 2nd worst in the league behind only the historically bad White Sox.

So…. We trade for coochie coochie coo and Terd Ferguson.

Worst front office in baseball.

And… hate to see it but Bagwell needs to GTFO. Never thought I’d say that about one of the greatest Astros ever.

Tuve, Bregman, and Yordan have pretty much buried this team with their efforts this home stand.

Can’t win if they don’t do anything

Dana needs to stop fricking around since he didn't get a veteran bat. All of the prospect lists are nonsense. Call up Whitcomb and see what he's got.

He truly has one of the worst Statcast pages in all of baseball and he’s in a rocking chair against this version of the Houston Astros.

Damnit you knew if Bregs could’ve walked last inning that Yordan would’ve gotten a base knock
