These games against the white sox, giants and Dodgers make it clear.

Baseball fans are in for an absolute great time come post season. If you can get hyped to watch all these good teams play, you need to just go watch WNBA.

Would be like watching a lineup of all relief pitchers hitting.

It's encouraging we are seeing the best baseball against good teams and it appears the Astros have also maybe turned the corner and will continually to hopefully beat up on the bad teams that we are going to see the rest of the month.

Agree. I prefer the way we’re playing right now even though we’re only 4-3 in the last 7, as opposed to going on the long streaks of feast or famine. That sort of thing is fine for the regular season but will get you beat in the playoffs with the quickness. Every game we’ve lost on this trip, we’ve generally hit well and gotten good ABs. Yed’s last AB against Buehler was epic, even though he eventually made an out. It ensured we got him out of the game. If we can keep up the steady hitting and avoid derpfests like the O’s sweep, I like our chances.

McCullers was electric last night. I was happy to see him dominate a pretty good team.

I'm glad his spot in the rotation came up last night. Given the situation and atmosphere, there is nobody on the staff that I would have trusted more than him to go out and stick it right back up their arse

CK would have pitched a no hitter last night.

And then he would’ve eaten a Dodgers fan liver for dinner.

And so it all did, from a crowd of 52,692, disgust raining upon a team that, dang it, treated it like sunshine.

Those lousy Astros, robbing this city of its moment.

The dreadful Astros, cheating us still.

This is both glorious and embarrassing at the same time. The very definition of the vast majority of California.

ETA: Hamels to Dodgers is official.

I know we are past this and basking in last nights victory, but still nice when other MLB stars don't mouth breathe in to a microphone acting like we tainted the holiness of baseball

People no longer want truth.

They thirst for victimhood.

Well now they are all victims of a righteous McCullering.

frick the Dodgers

Like they weren’t doing the exact same thing the Astros, Yankees and Red Sox and God knows what other teams were doing at the time

I think it’s bullshite they can just sign a NL allstar team while other teams don’t have a chance

Lol and they still can’t overcome the Giants

Their fans seemingly can’t grasp the level of entitlement.

If the Yankees and Red Sox are also doing it, yes. You already play at a financial disadvantage to them, so frick dem

McCullers quiets bats, Dodger Stadium fans

quote:

It wasn’t Game 7 of the World Series, though at times it had the feel. The Astros’ long-awaited return to a packed Dodger Stadium was dripping with drama and tension and right-hander Lance McCullers Jr. was more than happy to play the role of villain.

quote:

“It was kind of wild,” said reliever Ryne Stanek, who got the save. “It was maybe the sixth or seventh inning, things got a little bit hectic in the bullpen. People started throwing stuff at Astros fans and stuff and for a few minutes you basically sat there and watched people throw full beers at people for half an inning. … It was kind of a bonkers atmosphere to play, for sure.”

quote:

“It takes a special player to put an Astros jersey on,” he said. “If you’re not willing to withstand the craziness you’re going to get every time you walk onto the field, if you can’t handle it, it’s a tough gig. We’re going to go out there and have each other’s backs.”
