The Angels just in an absolute ORTure chamber that inning

Him at 98 with those two different spin pitches is pretty nice when he’s in the zone.

Despite their best efforts, the Astros have gone up by 3 games.

They will lead the division when we reach September.

ICE should be sent to the AL West.

Win or lose, tomorrow’s DAT is likely to be sparsely attended what with college football kicking off in earnest

We will see how much you frickers are invested in this squad tomorrow evening when there are many other viewing options available.

Furious that people spent money how they want to spend money to check out a big league game and saw a win.

I wouldn’t pay to watch that in person 99 out of 100 times if I knew the outcome

The exception would be in a World Series game

Honestly, it’s bad baseball. The Angels were worse tonight

State of the game today. But when baseball was a better played, more aesthetic game a long time ago, my Astros sucked.

I will take today’s version of both the game and the Astros because my team is winning and I’m happy when my teams win. If the Astros are more lucky than anything else for the next 10 years and routinely make the postseason, sign me up.

I can bitch with the best of them, but when all is said and done, give me stacks of victories and championships, however they happen, and I’ll take them. Hell, I wish I went to more games, win or lose.

It’s not that serious. It’s a night of entertainment who cares that people want to go and have a fun night out lol

Baseball and basketball games can be fun win or lose. Football is a miserable sport to be at live for a bad loss.

I go to AA games here and could not care less about the final score. It's just a good night out at the ballpark.

Also a lot cheaper than an MLB game.

Especially with the pitch clock now. Even if it’s a slog of a game you are still getting a full game in less than 2:45, and with the Astros playing poorly there are a lot of leverage moments in games that make it exciting or frustrating and both emotions are pretty okay for a night of entertainment

I’ll be on the Rhine next week, but using Express VPN to check in on the Astros. Gave up my 9 season tickets to LSU FB in 2018 to travel to Europe. Try to go every other year but we were in Tuscany this April and this will be our 4th river cruise for the same cost as those tickets.

For me to bring the family to Houston for a wknd series, it’s only a few dollars more to go to Isla. Or just go to Wrigley or Fenway and watch your team take BP with a better chance to score and/or win too.

But there’s no doubting I take it too serious. Always been all or none. The strike almost got me, but my dad kept me in. I have plenty stories involving fanaticism. Some are only slightly embarrassing, when they should be never mentioned, but I’m that guy.

Fair point, but I’ve spent a lot of money traveling to some bad losses, and when I look back, I’m still glad I went.
