I understand for sure, no offense taken. I wasn’t sure who was available. And Neris is a risk as I posted earlier due to his propensity to be out of the zone.
It was never winnable.
ETA: Singleton has done this before though. Valdez has got to get his fat arse moving as well. They both traded a W or for a likely L.
Defense has been mostly shitty all year and been a theme.

It was 50/50 with me. If Neris comes in and gets the out, what an emotional lift that would have been. If he blows his first assignment, that woulda put him in a bad spot.
He just pitches with so much emotion, I think he woulda done it. If he’s available. But then, someone has to pitch the rest of the game.
