Coupling the blown late lead from the Astros with the valiant Mariners comeback led to a plethora of reactions from the DAT (actual mileage may vary):

Mid-day Saturday game likely to lead to one of the least posted in DATs, so those who decide to enter, feel free to explore the space.

Thankfully, missed the implosion last night, and probably will miss all of the "fun" today. Just sucks that two eighth innings on separate coasts basically are the difference between a 6 1/2-game lead and a 4 1/2-game lead.

Last I saw it was 4-2, then woke up this morning and said WTF! Can we just scratch anybody named Abreu out of our organization.

That looks like me.

And I said it yesterday, but I hate the fact that after the 7th inning, we can give up our leads yet after the 8th inning we can never ever get a lead when trailing. That's frustrating.

Also we need to check into the pillows/mattresses these players are sleeping on. Bregman and Yordan discomforts.

From Rome yesterday:
quote:

Sept. 1 is eight days away. Kyle Tucker is still not running full speed, nor has he progressed to running the bases. Both of those things must be achieved before he goes out on a minor-league rehab assignment, which will be at least more than 2-3 games. So.

Obviously we have no clue what the injury really was or what “discomfort” or “setbacks” he’s experienced in the last 2.5 months, but is Kyle Tucker one of the absolute biggest pussies in sports?

I love the fire Neris brings and I know the team responds positively to his energy, but I’m nervous about bringing in another reliever with control issues. Hope I’m wrong and he helps the boys get some swagger back.

Tucker either has a broken leg or he's taking malingering to an art form.
