Also the other point I forgot to make in my extremely long post was the random off days we give to Correa, Springer, Tuve, etc. Whenever a player has a great game, or when we decide they need "rest", Hinch does it, and a lot of them have gotten hurt this year as a result. This is garbage and because of this, we're tied for the division too. Hinch needs to stop these random off days to players unless they're actually hurt. Otherwise, let them play. They're professional ball players for crying out loud.

The off days are to give them rest to prevent injury... Oops... Well I mean they all get injured anyway.

Off-days totally prevent injuries like banging up a thumb while sliding (two stars, two straight seasons) or wrenching your back/elbow on a swing or jamming your knee while running through a base.**

Harper staying with the Nationals after the waiver claim expired. Team that claimed him? The Dodgers. Got my hopes up for nothing I guess.

They get one more try. So they must have and arraignment with some team. It's interesting the Dodgers would make a claim. Wonder who they were blocking?

Scheduled off days are theoretically supposed to give bench players some reps in addition to giving your star players a chance to relax, step back from the game, and rejuvenate.

When you have a 20 game lead, that is a nice luxury. We have a race that is coming down to the wire, and our star players have all missed games electively, as well as being placed on the injured list.

So, when we miss the playoffs by one game, there will be plenty of instances we can point to where our paid players were not allowed to contribute when they were not only able, but willing.

How many races has Hinch been involved in? One? 2015? How many rest days did we have then? Did they rest an extra day off rehab assignments too?

No sense of urgency. All I see around me is settling. And like Jwho said, what a great mantra for the season.
Never Settle.

Ironic

Tell your sauce to call a players only meeting. That is how Ed Orgeron has had so much success.

I don't think you could put together the words Orgeron and success in the same sentence and have it make any sense whatsoever.

Ripping shirts off and eating insects is a pre-requisite for the face of a major D-1 program.

Needing an interpreter was only a minor setback after having Miles

So our only reliever that has a combo of pitching 3 or more innings at any level this year and pitched MLB innings has been sent down before a game that we plan to bullpen.

Brilliant
