That’ll unfortunately probably do it for Javi with pitch count

Hold on to your butts, hopefully bullpen dudes have regained form

Hitting coach is not doing his job or players do not respect him

Every player is pulling on a guy that has a 100+ FB with a ++ slider

I mean, how fricking stupid

I don’t know how that guys hittable if he’s in the zone earlier in counts like he was tonight. That stuff is very real

Letting Javi go, respect it

Shoutout Javi tonight, matched Strider pretty much pitch for pitch and really locked it back in after the homer by Grissom. Punched out 4 of the last 6 he faced

Javi has been fairly managed with pitch counts. I appreciate some nut cutting work with an extended pitch count.

Other than Dusty Baker being a buffoon, what do you think the difference is tonight leaving Javier in over 100 pitches in the 6th and letting him finish it and pulling Urquidy in Chicago in the middle of the inning, pitching a jewel, just because 100 pitches?

Javi is the second best pitcher on the staff, it’s time people start to recognize it

11 pitches and the batted ball was 102.8. Wish he would have been rewarded
