That sequence a couple of innings back is going to bite us. Jed not scoring, then Shitty Catcher does what he does with 2 RISP.
I just wish we had traded for a catcher hitting around 280 that can throw runners out.

I’m tired of Maldonado playing b/c of his staff handling and getting his pitchers beat with horrible pitch calls way ahead in the count
If these games don’t really matter enough that we can rest our starters consistently, why wouldn’t you give the far better hitting catcher that is considered good defensively some reps with your staff before we play the games that really count

The Vazquez thing hacks me off way more than the Mancini thing.
I mean when they were playing Diaz rather than Mancini, it’s one thing. Diaz is a decent player. Don’t misunderstand…they should have found a way to get them both in but…FODB.
And on the staff handling, they (FODB) act like CV is some rookie. This is a really good veteran catcher who should have minimal trouble acclimating to the staff. They’re treating him like Lee.
