Why did they waste an option on Straw? They know they have long/middle relief issues.

In a way I get it. They were lined up to have greinke and cole and expecting minimum 6 innings for both. Also Straw deserved to be kept up with the way he played but numbers crunch so I get throwing him a bone.

I saw part of the first game and have been mowing since and don't feel like reading through the thread but why didn't Cole start and why did Bregman not start game 2?
Don't tell me Hinch wanted him to get a full day off when he got yesterday off.

Cole scratched before game time with right hamstring discomfort. Bregman scratched too. Still hurting from getting hit in the shoulder blade.
