Sucks for Blanco, but looking at the other names added can’t really argue him over those guys with any conviction. Mapping it out he might not have been able to go anyway. If the rotation holds he will pitch Tuesday then Sunday

Watched the game at a pool party, I was a pretty ornery guest. Thankfully, it was family and they get why.
This free swinging shite didn’t just start, it’s been up and down the lineup, definitely compounded with Joey and Trey playing daily with Mauricio.
Altuve is what he is. A HOFer who is an idiot on the basepaths, mediocre on defense at this point, and a free swinger and leader of the team. Peña is a free swinger, Yainer swings at everything, Mauricio swings at everything (finally took two pitches today I think but they were 100+ cockshots), Joey and Trey swing and miss at a high percentage, Chas can’t even be traded probably because of his swing and miss/zone awareness this season, and Bregman has seemingly moved away from his patient approach. That may be because there is nobody left to protect him with the lineup as it currently stands.
If you can swing and actually be productive (see Altuve), it don’t much matter. The rest of these frickers need to frick off with Dusty and Martín.

I think I want to target Justin Turner. Leads the majors with 4.48 pitches per plate appearance. 13% walk rate which is 12th in mlb.
Our lineup ranges from 3.26 (Dubon) up to 3.99 (Tucker). Tuckers number is good for 49th most.
Tucker had a 17.6% walk rate, behind him on the team is Yordan at 10.2%

I’m guilty of only watching the Astros, so I don’t have much knowledge about who is out there as the trade deadline nears. However, Justin Turner really looks like what this lineup could use the way he sees a ton of pitches and has pretty good stats as well.
Who sent Pressly the bag of dicks within the last few weeks to get his mind right? And more importantly, who will take the hit and send Hader an even bigger bag?
It’s just gonna be so difficult to win with bullpen days every week and having Arrighetti be a regular starter and not just a spot starter.
