The ONLY excuse I would accept from luhnow at this point is that we are way worse injury wise than we all know
Or maybe the prices were too steep. Just a thought.

We may not even hold the division with these injuries.

I had convinced myself that this management was in it to win. Today I was proved wrong.

Tucker is now blocked because we didnt move Fisher.

Not trading Fisher =/= Derek Fisher is our left fielder for the next 6 years

Rest assured that teams were wanting Whitley or Tucker. Or no deal is done

No now we just wait for next season when Reddick comes back down to earth. McCanns bat to fall off, Springer to go back to being a streaky player and the next reliever to follow the path of Tony Sipp and Luke Gregerson.

I don't like they didn't get anyone, but what am I supposed to do? Throw a tantrum and never watch again? frick that. On with the show. Dance for me clowns.

Best thing I've read all day... and this thread has delivered.

With this mindset, how do you guys even watch and enjoy it?

I commented about chemistry and hopefully it's enough to carry this team through the rest of the season and to the WS.

On a side note, perhaps lance should focus on getting healthy and right instead of worrying about the public perception and management issues.

What if we traded Whitley, Tucker and Martes to load up the bullpen and ALL of that happened in the second half of the season. Along with Correa never getting back to full strenghth. McCullers battling the DL the rest of the way. Marisnick goes back to hitting .210.

We wont win the world series and we have sold off all of our promising talent.

... Do I think any of that would happen? Not at all, but your point is just as ridiculous. You cant GM in fear that everything goes wrong next season. He is not building a damn team. He is building a franchise.
