I would have preferred a take sign for a straight steal or keep dialing up the hit-and-run considering who was on base and at the plate there.

If you guys don't think the Astros are being stupid at the plate you need to watch a veteran team like the Royals or the Yankees or the Giants. trying to hit a homerun every time will probably wind up costing them this game... they could've pushed across two or three runs by now if they had played smart and taken normal swings
