Fill me in on why the Tampa pitcher was throwing 50mph lobs??? Never seen anything like it.

True, but doesn’t JV have a no-trade clause? I would imagine if the Mets want to offload any of his future contract, they will have to take what they could get. Without the Mets paying the bulk of his remaining contract, they end up with an aging, over-priced pitcher and not one new prospect to show for it.
