Theyre calling up Leon ? Big fing deal. They tried to trade this guy , and it seems nobody wanted him. So they trade away 1/3 of the future on a shite rental with a 5 era, and call up a guy they didnt want. Idiots

but there was no reason to have lost that after having the lead going into the 8th

Apparently, 33 is young in baseball.

Ultimately, things have been setting up for a very, very bleak future with this organization and it starts up top. The arrogance and incompetence of crane thinking that he built the organization and knows what’s best to maintain it is astonishing.
Bad moves happen, but the amount of bad moves that have been made since firing Click has us on a path of no return.

Yep. Joey said bye on IG last night.
I'm boycotting this team until Brown and Bagwell are gone. Just total incompetency to panic deal like that last night.

Hard to blame Brown when Click got shite-canned for not making a panic trade and still winning the World Series. He basically got brought on to make splash moves and draft well. The early return on drafting hasn’t been great, and the splash deals are causing more harm than good.

Almost impossible to be that incompetent, but rest assured he isn't acting autonomously. He doesn't have authority to make trades in his own.

He isn’t good, I’m just saying he basically doesn’t have a choice on making moves because he’s getting fired if he doesn’t. Click helped sustain the machine and had team control for a WS year. Still didn’t satisfy Crane because he didn’t do anything exciting. I think Brown is doing what he’s told, whether it makes sense or not.
With that said, he’s been garbage at trading and underwhelming in the draft. The draft stuff can change as guys develop, but he doesn’t seem to bring anything to the table right now.

I actually think the early returns on his drafting are pretty good, but who gives a frick if you’re functionally retarded and trade them all away for the Yusei Kikuchi’s of the world
