No, that 7.5 is combined total of both teams.

It would be very on brand for this team to beat Skenes and then lose the following 2

Yep. Skenes is going to dominate, the key is try to make him get his pitch count up and get him out by the 6th or 7th and hope we can get to their pen. Which means of course we’ll be swinging at 1st pitch non stop

Pirates offense is shitty but Bloss is shittier so that’ll be interesting to see play out

No matter how we do it, gotta get 2/3 this series. Seattle starting a 3 gamer in Boston before hosting the Phillies this weekend. We go from Pirates to hosting the now depleted Rays this weekend. A good opportunity to go up a few games in the division

Meh he doesn't walk anyone and you can't be consistently down in the count 0-2 and 1-2 against guys with this caliber of stuff. If you get a fastball in the zone early you've gotta let it rip

Could Skenes be the pitching version of Judge?

I’m a big fan of Skenes, but I think his most impressive feat is that it only took him 1 pitch to match Aaron Judge for lifetime World Series rings.

If Skenes performs tonight the way Judge has against the Astros in the postseason, then Skenes will be out of the game by the third and the Astros will win going away.

I know I'm not the only lifelong Rastros fan cheering for Paulie S. tonight

Get ahold of yourself man. Take a look at what you've become

Could Skenes be the pitching version of Judge? Can we see a CG No hitter? Or will the Astros bang the cans and use the buzzers to avoid the inevitable?.

quote:

Judge has a higher OBP than those two.

BoSox were so spooked by The Great One that tey 4-pitched walked him. Pansies

quote:

All aspiring baseball players should say “I wanna be like JUDGE”. I hope you have a JUDGE week (use “JUDGE” in the place of the word “Great”)

quote:

Add another base hit for Judge. Five in a row and seven in a row PAs. Barry Bonds-esque

quote:

Houck needs to be on; with Judge, location is key. Make one mistake and it’s 500 feet the other way

quote:

Aaron Judge got on base all six times last night; he’s 5-8 with 2 homers and a double, and three walks. Good for 2.273 OPS. Can the Yanks build on their come from behind win? Each team blew a late inning lead. Can the Sox get Judge out tonight?

quote:

It’s almost time for a Judge countdown thread

quote:

Yanks win. Late September vibe as a WC. Bad pitching, bad defense, and good hitting. And Judge doing GOAT things

Those are your last 9 posts. It's tough when you see your behavior all grouped into one place like that. Touch some grass. Visit another board. Talk about some other things. Your obsession is unhealthy and I'm worried.

That would require quality ABs, something this offense is definitely not known for

You can already anticipate how this one is going to go. Skenes throws a lot of fastballs, doesn't walk many and is deadly when he gets to 2 strikes. Our guys are going to sit on the fastball and swing early. May bot be Skenes best strikeout day but he'll probably get a career high in 1st pitch Groundouts

Fedde off the market.

He’s going to STL in a 3-way deal that sends Tommy Edman to LAD.

Starting to think maybe they are trying to put all their eggs in one basket and may have to scramble if the other team doesn’t take it.

Or just can’t match up prospect wise and other orgs don’t like any of the Astros guys. Still feel confident they will add but the pickings are slimmer by the hour

Any time Dana has spoken publicly the last week or 2 it’s been all about acquiring starting pitching with a few mentions of possible bullpen help. I haven’t heard him say shite about 1B which I think is a huge mistake if we ride with Singleton

Yea he didn’t mention a bat at all yesterday on the broadcast.

It’s just kind of the stupid thought that he might be zagging while telling everyone he is zigging. I don’t necessarily believe that’s the case just something that creeped in my brain with how quiet they are on the bat front
