It’s all about insurance policies the team has on players

How much of their salaries can be recovered?

Sounds ludicrous I know, but I can’t come up with feasible answers on why this team more than any other professional team in any sport has so much bullshite surrounding injuries

Dawgs, Angels RF just dropped one of the most routine fly balls with two outs and bases loaded to allow two Rangers to score and tie the game

I can’t remember a time I’ve ever seen a MLB outfielder dropped a ball like that

Hahaha and then the Angels had an infield pop up fall 10 feet from the catcher. It barely landed off the skirt around home plate

Struck out Joc anyway

Diaz is young and is intriguing to other teams. How many catchers can hit for power?

There’s 10 yo travel ball dads that could scout Diaz as a hitter. Power? Hell, he can’t get on base. He’s not average defensively. His regression is beyond a slump. He can’t hit 5 hole ahead of Chas McCormick with his whopping 0 HRs in 45 games

You’re not getting anything for him selling at his lowest value as a MLB roster holder. And we don’t have anyone to replace him, even as a part time Sunday C

Look at the slop on the trade market that teams are kicking themselves to get. And they’d just re-sign Caratini.

Framber has place himself on the trade block to get the hell out of this tire fire

That’s a beautiful thing that he is doing there

Correa was all class too. A true team player doing what’s best for all involved

On that note, if you’re gonna make a move for a middle IF and you can work out the financials with the Twins, getting Correa could explain what I was reading between Dana’s lines tonight

But whatever he does, let’s please hope it has more long term significance than short term

This team is going to hell. 18 on the IL, minor league lineup, lost 5 straight to last place teams and your ace is going to the media complaining about how absurd the defensive positioning behind him is. What a mess.

And first time starting in RF

But you would think someone would had to have positioned him there to be THAT far out of position

Just finished the game, very happy not to have watched it last night. The offense is putrid. The veterans either flat out suck or are in slumps and the journeymen are journeymen for a reason. It’s going to be extremely painful to see Framber walk in the offseason and get nothing in return for him. He’s been such a durable cog in the rotation for awhile.

And it doesn’t matter that George fricking costanza is pitching because these no talent arse clowns aren’t going to score any runs anyway. And if they do score runs, it’ll be a one game offensive ‘explosion’ and the bats will go silent again for another week or 10 days. These guys suck.
