I'd rather have big Jon around than Pooper Hummel. If Melton is coming back, get rid of an outfielder.

Hopefully Melton and IG they use the 40 man spot for someone start tomorrow or Wednesday? Ulloa threw on Saturday so probably not him. If they don't add anyone you are looking at a bullpen game tomorrow in Walter's spot and then Jason Alexander
Regardless they need another long reliever with how taxed the shitty bullpen options are with starters turning the ball over to them down 5 in the 5th inning.

I feel like Arrighetti’s next start will come in the majors leagues even if it’s on a pitch count of 80 or so simply because they don’t have any other options

I was having a conversation yesterday about that.
Give me his 75-80 bullets if his stuff feels good than running a bullpen game or Alexander back out there. And Alexander can be exchanged for Gordon here too not meaning to shite just on him but it’s just his turn in the rotation this week.

Are yall ready for Framber's last start as an Astro?
Maybe Crane will give him a Harley and ride him out to the mound?
He definitely deserves better than a Monday crowd, but instead he'll give up a 1st inning run on a Short throwing error to tie the modern record of 19 games trailing in a row
I know betting on 1st inning runs is a thing. Anybody happen to know what the odds are on the Nats scoring first?

If tweet fails to load, click here. Melton is back. It's so dire, that the rookie with 29 major league at bats coming off a 45 day injury is batting 5th

Also goes to show just how bad Diaz has been

Cam Smith notably missing from the lineup. How long before he’s announced to the IL after that HBP yesterday?

Lou Guillermo was outrighted and chose free agency. Thanks for the memories.

We will always have that sick defensive game he had in Sacramento.
So two 40 man spots available now?

Just saw McTaggart or someone saying he's starting Thursday for Sugar Land but will join the team for the road trip so either starting in Miami or 1st game of Yankees series.

OF Jake Meyers (right calf strain) is rehabbing in Houston.
Upvote: it really is just a right calf strain
Downvote: it’s really an Achilles injury

Maybe Javier is getting close too?

May as well start him in our current roster. Legit could not hurt this team
