GOATcock asks whos the other TOR starter we are going to trade for. He wants a solid 2 to follow him in the rotation.

Keuchel
Lance
**Gray
Morton
McHugh

Devenski, Fiers and Peacock can now work multiple innings when needed. I mean getting 6 out of your top 3 would be nice, but there are options that could come bridge the gap. Games 4 & 5... 3 innings and you could possibly be good to bring in one of the above guys.

Harris and Giles will have the 8 & 9, but who knows about Feliz, Martes, Hoyt & Musgrove. Hopefully 1 or 2 guys will step up and prove to be reliable come October

Edit: ** meant to add that you can replace Gray with Stroman, Cole... The point is another starter goes a long way to adding some needed bullpen depth

If we had to win a game tomorrow, I'd want Fiers to start over Morton.

Hoyt with 55 strikeouts to 7 walks. That's pretty impressive. Too bad everything else about him has sucked.

Hoyt pitches like "Hit Man" Hearns used to box.

There never seemed to be a fight that would go the distance. Either Hearns won by knockout or he got knocked into the next state.

With Morton's new found velo+his injury history I think we should look at moving him to the pen when everyone is back. Would be a legit back end guy.

I'm onboard with that. The 4th game starter is completely up in the air, but it could be a Fiers-Morton-McHugh game..?

I put a 5th starter down but all likelihood, DK turns around and starts a game 5.

Not sure why Hoyt was pulled other than muh matchups.

Guduan had like 1 or 2 decent appearances and everything else has been shite
